[51] Doctors tell you not to sleep with your phone in your room. Studies show that even sleeping next to an object that looks like a phone can stress you out.

We shouldn’t abandon technology like AR glasses, but we can learn from the past decade to make the next ten years better. We can design technology to help us disconnect, focus on our own thoughts and personal time. If AR glasses are another mechanism for notifications, alerts, messages, and cold calls, then they will be a failure. AR glasses aren’t just an evolution in technology, they are an evolution in the way we interact with it and invite it into our lives.
